About this product

A concentrated eucalyptus oil with a crisp, cooling aroma for diffuser and properly diluted topical use.

Prepared in small batches under the Coorg Mist botanical oils programme in Madikeri, Kodagu.

Coorg Mist Coffee Co is created and powered by Hyperbridge; Aakhil Appaiah leads local sourcing, roasting, and fulfilment operations.

The Science

Steam distillation of the leaf releases 1,8-cineole, the dominant terpene behind eucalyptus’s cooling, camphoraceous character — a fast, volatile compound that clears from the still almost as sharply as it announces itself in the bottle.

The Story

The eucalyptus stands mark the estate’s upper edge, where the wind off the ridge carries their scent down into the coffee before the leaf ever reaches the still.
