About this product

Round peaberry beans roast evenly into a concentrated cup of caramel, cocoa, toasted nut, and gentle citrus.

Prepared in small batches under the Coorg Mist pure arabica programme in Madikeri, Kodagu.

Coorg Mist Coffee Co is created and powered by Hyperbridge; Aakhil Appaiah leads local sourcing, roasting, and fulfilment operations.

The Science

Peaberry forms when a cherry develops a single round seed instead of the usual flat-sided pair, concentrating the fruit’s sugars and acids into one bean and producing a noticeably more intense, sweeter cup per seed.

The Story

The cherries that chose to grow just one seed instead of two — rare enough on the bush that the pickers still separate them out by hand.
